1. Avoid direct sunlight in your face and avoid strange shadows on your face by never standing directly under a light. 2. Point your nose at the photographer’s shoulder or further away. 4. Turn your body 45 degrees away from the camera and turn your head towards the camera, but don’t forget about #3. 5. Place your hand on your hip for a few photos. If standing try placing your hands on both hips at different heights. 6. Sit down if you are taller than the photographer. A photo from slightly above is more flattering. 7. Never say cheese. To get a natural smile joke with the photographer or other people. 8. Stand or sit up straight. 9.
